How it works
Four straightforward steps, whether you know exactly what you need or you are just starting to look.
1. Tell us what you need
Use the quick search if you already know the type of care and the area. If you would rather explain the situation in your own words, use the description box on the home page and we will turn what you write into search criteria you can review and edit.
2. We search regulated providers
We look up the town or postcode you give us, then search providers registered with the Care Quality Commission within the distance you chose. Ratings, registered services and regulated activities all come from CQC records.
3. Compare your shortlist
Add up to four providers to a comparison and see their ratings, services, specialisms and contact details side by side.
4. Contact providers directly
Call or visit a provider's website, or complete one enquiry form and we will pass it to every provider you selected. Arrangements, assessments, pricing and availability are always agreed directly between you and the provider.
What we do not do
We do not recommend one provider over another, we do not provide care, and we do not give medical or clinical advice. We show regulated information and what providers tell us about themselves, clearly labelled.
